At Simply Creative Media we have developed a small niche of working with authors to get their great book ideas published on the web.  It started out with a few clients that needed some basic internet marketing help with a website, domain names, etc. and then grew into combining our technical expertise with our marketing savvy to help them get their great ideas realized as published authors.  There isn’t a lot of rocket science to getting self published these days, but getting the right advice on what you need and don’t need, how to find your target audience is key to getting off on the right foot and not being stopped dead in your tracks with frustration.

Amazon Kindle Format

You can reach millions of readers by publishing in Amazon’s Kindle store which is where we start with our clients. Amazon is the largest online retailer in the world and the Kindle is by far the most popular eReader on the market.  With eBook sales gaining momentum year over year, publishing on Kindle simply makes sense.  The entry cost is low and the rewards and share to the author can be high.

Publishing on the Amazon Kindle format does not however limit your reach.  Amazon Kindle eBooks can be read on any platform with the Kindle Cloud Reader including PC’s, Laptops, Tablets, eReaders and SmartPhones.  This opens up your market digitally to virtually anyone with an electronic device.  You may not be aware but through Amazon you can also have print on demand services that can deliver hard copies of your work as well, putting your book in the hands of readers that prefer a more traditional format.  Historically the entry barrier of having many books printed let alone finding someone to take on the publishing project was daunting.
